Take a break. Stop with the stupid idea that you have to torture yourself non-stop or be lazy. Your brain has only so many chemicals on hand and you are running low. Rest, give your brain a rest and when you return it will be easier.

So I guess today turned out to not be too bad
My remote sensing lab was actually really fun, not only because we were looking at 3-D(ish) maps but also because I had a total nerd session with an attractive envi sci major. (He looks like the guy who plays Jim in The Office) We were nerding out about botany and geology and national parks and when I mentioned Glacier National Park we found out that in 2009 we were there only a month apart!...

Well I’m done with my remote sensing lab. Yay making maps.
Now I get to read more chemical safety stuff before I go to geospacial data lecture.

i don’t want any more societal pressure
i just want to hike mountains....
For us non-Christians, Lent is a time when Christians stop using popular social networking sites.

don’t you know that praying for inocuous things without truly understanding what you’re doing has a serious effect on random and chaotic, and totally natural occurrences, governed by math, which is generally out of the realm of religion? XD

Today was wonderful.
I left my phone at home and just wandered the mountains for hours. My friend and I think we walked about 6 miles. It was so nice to wear shorts (50º today!), feel the sun on my skin, and use my legs for once. I have long legs for a reason and the reason is always the mountains.
Today was exactly what I needed. And tomorrow it will snow and it will be pretty.
