Option 1: Take possibly-paid internship in DC over the summer with water quality company where I get to help manage conferences.
Option 2: Stay in my college town, work at the library, and do my own water quality research.

So I guess today turned out to not be too bad
My remote sensing lab was actually really fun, not only because we were looking at 3-D(ish) maps but also because I had a total nerd session with an attractive envi sci major. (He looks like the guy who plays Jim in The Office) We were nerding out about botany and geology and national parks and when I mentioned Glacier National Park we found out that in 2009 we were there only a month apart!...
