So I guess today turned out to not be too bad
My remote sensing lab was actually really fun, not only because we were looking at 3-D(ish) maps but also because I had a total nerd session with an attractive envi sci major. (He looks like the guy who plays Jim in The Office) We were nerding out about botany and geology and national parks and when I mentioned Glacier National Park we found out that in 2009 we were there only a month apart! (woooooo) And so yeah it was wonderful because that’s my favorite place ever and he loves it too so ohmygosh. Being able to have that kind of connection is just totally awesome, I think.
Then I had my dentist appointment to get a filling and my doctor was talking about how solar flares will make the magnetic fields flip (no no no no no no) so I visibly twitched but he just kept on rating about how sea levels might rise and shit when it flips (nonononononono). But I was all numbed up so it wasn’t like I could set him straight. I just laughed it off.
And now I’m waiting for the anesthetic to wear off so I can eat my Cook-Out food.
Soooo yeah. Not bad.
